With all the disappointment (!) of the afternoon

, there was onlt one thing to do - go and take some more bats pictures!!!!
En route we tried to follow-up on stories of Glow worms - sure enough, a female Glow Worm (on account of the males not being glowing worms).

Then, a Devil's Coach Horse beetle scurried under our feet - not fast enough to be caught on film.

Finally though, our main quarry - bats. Only 20 pictures taken tonight, and a few even roughly in focus. With the strike rate improving, it'll only be another few months before I finally get a sharp image...
