5 September 2008 - St Mary's Isles of Scilly
A rather uneventful day - only two memorable moments related to natural history was the finding of the Dotterel on the airport runway (and a Golden Plover) and when the whale picture made it on TV this evening.
Hi, did you take the Humpy picture that made the papers? I had Meridian TV phoning me, trying to track you down, and I found your work number by googling your name (if it's you).I hope you didn't mind. Great picture. I was interested to see you ring with Mark, I'm at St Margaret's and normally bird the Bockhill side, by sometimes get over to the Valley. cheers, Tony
