15 July 2015 - Oare Marshes KWT, Kent

Had a pleasant couple of hours at Oare Marshes, thanks to the kind permission of the Kent Wildlife Trust. I had been wanting to target a few coastal macro, but alas my luck this summer finally ran out - even a possible Crescent Striped in the darkness became a Dark Arches in daylight.

The star of the night was a fantastic Bisigna procerella. First recorded in 1976 in the UK and known only from a handful of sites in Kent, this is a great record. Thanks to Danny for pointing it out as it arrived at the trap.
