9 August 2014 - St Margaret's at Cliffe
Had a very short session at the coast - rain and equipment causing us to pack up so very much earlier than I'd wanted. Highlight was the big micro (almost enormous...) of which there were several caught.
Cochylimorpha alternana
Poplar Lutestring
Slender Pug (I think)
Marbled Green
Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow-underwing (a red jobbie)

Hi,
Some nice moths but I think your Figure of Eighty is actually a Poplar Lutestring.
Best wishes,
Richard
Thanks Richard, very much appreciated - too much haste on my part. The white on the sides caused the confusion in my wee head!
Kind regards, Ross
