5 July 2014 - Funton Creek

Went on a recce to some salk-marsh - Crescent Striped was a potential, as was Ground Lackey and several Wainscots... Unfortunately the rain had a big impact on the evening - blowing two of my bulbs...

Despite the bulbs, we managed a few moths of interest. As for target species - we caught several 'may-be' moths that could be Crescent Striped but are, infact, something much more common, just Dark Arches...

Olive
Vapourer
Clay (darkest one I've ever seen!)
Clay - complete with dark underwing and small black belly-patch
White Satin
Dusky Sallow
Smoky Wainscot
Light Arches
Dark Arches - tryingto out fox me as I search for Crescent Striped...
