No moth trapping last night... Only highlight was a Spotted Flycatcher in the garden, appearing shortly after a thunder storm.

WIth cold night temperatures now being experienced, a poor catch was inevitable:
Small Wainscot - I caught 15 of these, mainly copper-coloured, in 1.5 hrs

23 August 2011 - The neighbours again!
Another catch in the neighbours garden again. Highlight was a superb Garden Tiger, a memory of rearing these as a kid in rural Cambridgeshire - this one being the first I've caught since trapping.

22 August 2011 - The neighbours' Garden
I put the MV trap in the neighbours garden - it's too bright to put in our garden here with people sleeping in various garden facing bedrooms!
First out he trap was this lovely Grey Chi
And second out was this Angle-striped Sallow
It was a decent sized beast in comparison with a Sallow
