My first and only previous QoS Frit was an example many moons ago on the Isles of Scilly, so when numerous adults were found to be inhabiting some fields in East Kent...I just had to go and have another bit of quality time in the company of Her Majesty!
Up to four Spotted Flycatchers just a short walk from the office - fantastic to see these gems which are sadly declining year-on-year
Enjoyed taking a few pictures of this young Honey Buzzard passing through on migration to Africa for the winter...
Enjoyed several Green Sandpipers at Stoddy today - some even venturing close enough to have their picture taken!
Managed to drop in on this Red-necked Phalarope on way from Kent to Bedfordshire... A great wee Chiffchaff helped make the fun day...
Had a fun weekend away with Max to enjoy the Greater Horseshoe Bats at Buckfastleigh. The trip yielded our chosen quarry and a nice selection of avian delights... And some Cirl Buntings on the way home!
