6 Aug 2016 - Badgells Wood Camp Site, Kent
Made a return visit to Badgells Wood Camp Site near Holy Hill.
The Waved Carpets still around with several caught.
I've only ever caught 'Goodwini' at this site - and cracking they are earlier in the year (see my 2014 picture below).
My target for 2017 is to catch a really fresh Goodwini in May/June - we'll see.

31 July 2016 - Thames Estuary/Isle of Grain
Spent a short (hour and a half) visit to the Isle of Grain. Wainscots featured highly in the catch and I should probably have retained a few more for photography! A male Gem, one Silver Y and several Rush Veneer (5) all made for a pleasant catch. I am beginning to wonder why I only stayed out for such a short spell as I made it home by 12.15am...(most of the packing-up time was taken by my reading the Last Rites to 10,000 Water Veneers!). If you see anything useful in my micro selection, do drop me a line!
And some micros, which I'll try and name later...
And a Dark Arches - just because it's a well-marked almost nice specimen...

21 July 2016 - Orlestone Forest
Visited Orlestone again on the 21st July - for the third time this summer I've stuck three traps along the ride, beside the Bracken, that I caught the Latin on last year. Though no Latins were caught , it was a nice selection of micros that made the effort worthwhile.
Comments on my putative ID's is, as ever, very much appreciated.
