Northern Giant Petrel - wow! Stupid question , but it's pretty large yeh?! Remember going to Oare with someone who'd never seen a Little Tern before. I pointed one out to him as it flew up the Swale with some Common Terns - to which the said observer stated, "I've can see Terns, is it the little one?" ;-)

Adam - huge! Somewhere between a Gannet and an Albatross. Certainly bigger than a Little Tern. Nice winter shots on your blog. More soon - Ross
